A-State’s fifth annual Helmets and Heels set for August 2
ASU Media Relations JONESBORO, Ark. – Sponsored by St. Bernards Healthcare and hosted by the Red Wolves Foundation, the fifth annual “Helmets and Heels” program featuring members of the Arkansas State football team is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Centennial Bank Stadium.
The event will take place in the A-State football stadium’s Johnny Allison Tower and begin at 5:00 p.m. with a shopping and social hour, while the actual program with studentathletes and the coaching staff will start at 6:00 p.m.
Local vendors will be on site displaying the latest AState apparel, gifts and gear, and those in attendance will also have the opportunity to take part in a live auction.
Helmets and Heels was created to help raise funds to purchase gear for AState’s annual pink game and as a fun ladies night out while interacting with the Red Wolves.
“Helmets and Heels continues to generate a lot of fan interest, and we always receive great feedback about the experience,” said Adam Haukap, Executive Director of the Red Wolves Foundation. “We’re obviously excited to host the event again this year and looking forward to another great crowd.”
Individual tickets are priced at $55 each and available for purchase through the A-State Ticket Office, located at the Convocation Center’s lower red entrance, in person or by phone at 870972-2781. Vendor booths are available for $150 each and may be purchased by contacting the Red Wolves Foundation at 870-9722401.
