ralphhardin@gmail.com West Memphis Christian Schools recognized the Class of 2016 with graduation ceremonies on Friday, May 13, in the Sanctuary of Missouri Street Church of Christ. A total of 18 Black Knight seniors took the final step in their high school education, with a number of students receiving honors during the commencement.

The 2016 graduates were: Andrea Lynn Beyer, Ashley Marie Beyer, Bailey Elizabeth Felts, Daniel Harrison Goe, Kentrale Eric Greene, Jay William Hale II, Logan Bowen Hunter, Hannah Elizabeth Lloyd, Makiah Jerome Peterson Nowlin, Kirby Alan Haggard Patterson, James Landon Pike, Lauren Marie Pike, Beatrice Claire Price, Caleb Gentry Seale, Hanna Bree Walters, Akilah Grace Watkins, McKhail Zachary Weaver, and Stephen Holden Wooten.

Valedictorians were Class Secretary Andrea Beyer, Ashley Beyer, and Class President Claire Price. Andrea and Ashley Beyer are the daughters of Derek and Melanie Beyer of Marion. Price is the daughter of Mark and Traci Price of Joiner, Arkansas.

Salutatorian was Bailey Felts. Felts is the daughter of George and Traci Felts of Memphis.

Mr. and Mrs. WMCS for 2016 are Stephen Wooten and Ashley Beyer. Wooten is the son of Roy and Natashia Wooten of Marion.

Nominated for the WMCS Hall of Fame were Caleb Seale, Landon Pike, Lauren Pike, and Bailey Felts. Seale is the son of Mike and Angela Seale of Marion. Landon and Lauren Pike are son and daughter of Jimmy and Sheila Pike of Marion.
