Hughes to hold breakfast for grads

Community celebrates Class of 2016

They’re still Blue Devils, but following the mandated consolidation of the Hughes School District with the West Memphis School District, the Hughes community is still finding a way to recognize their home town graduated.

The members of what would have been the Hughes High School senior class will meet at 9 a.m on Friday, May 20, at the St. Francis Restaurant for their Senior Breakfast. The Breakfast will be followed by a class photo at the Hughes High School campus, and the morning will conclude with a class prayer.

All graduating former Hughes students are asked to bring their respective caps and gowns to be worn during the class photograph. The event is organized by the Hughes Community Action Network.
