At the scene of the crash

Rain and a notoriously dangerous intersection were a recipe for disaster Thursday morning when a Marion Police SUV hit a passenger car, en route to a domestic call, at the intersection of Old Military Road and the I-55 Service Road. The impact was severe enough to crumple the front end of the police vehicle and send one woman to the the Region One Center in Memphis. Arkansas State Police and Marion Police and Fire services responded to the crash.
