Junior Leadership takes over City Hall

Young representative’s from the city’s junior high schools attended the city council meeting capping off a hands-on day of civics at West Memphis City Hall. “Mayor” Carlton Bennage adjourns the April 21 meeting of the West Memphis City Council under the watchful eye of Mayor Bill Johnson. Johnson emphasized the importance of voting, as Bennage won the “Mayor for a Day” honor by one vote.
