West Memphis Christian fell to 3-3 in 2016 with a 52 loss to Covington, Tennessee late last Thursday night.

The Black Knights (3-3 overall, 1-1 district) saw Parker Benson go 1-3 and Manning Shidler post a 1-2 night at the plate, but it wasn’t enough.

Benson took the loss for West Memphis Christian on the mound.

“Walks and errors killed us tonight,” said West Memphis Christian secondyear head coach Gary Cordell.

West Memphis Christian is at home today when they host Tunica Institute. That visit will feature a junior varsity game at 4 p.m., followed by the varsity game. Those games will be played at Tilden Rogers Park.
