WMCS wins third straight
Black Knights maul Millington
Sports Editor West Memphis Christian won its third consecutive game on Tuesday, downing Millington, Tennessee by a score of 9-2.
The Black Knights (3-2 overall) got the win from starting pitcher Jacob Hatcher.
Hatcher helped his own cause by going 2-2 at the plate, as did Cole Wann.
Parker Benson was 1-3, Hunter Weathers went 1-2, as did Evin Cooper, and Manning Shidler finished 1-1.
West Memphis Christian played last night at Covington, Tennessee.
The Black Knights will host Tunica Academy on March 21 with the varsity game starting at 4 p.m.
West Memphis Christian remains at home the next day when they face Northpoint Christian at 4:30 p.m. in Southaven and they’ll play at DeSoto County Academy on March 24.
